There are no benefits of lying (with your friends).

Do you know what the best smell I've ever experienced is? A smoking cigarette mixed with a breeze of cold snow from an open window and a bit of sage from a potted plant sitting nearby.

Add the experience of this smell with the Apples in Stereo playing in the background and you will have the best winter morning ever. Toss in a hot homemade apple turnover and you have my morning.

I think I need to live life more.

I've heard of the High Water Marks but I haven't got any of their music, so maybe I'll check them out sometime.

Professionally, I'm not a writer. I work as a researcher in ecological biodiversity at the university while I try to earn my doctoral.

As far as lutefisk goes, I only get to enjoy it once a year around the holidays, which is such a pity since I crave it all year long usually.

Sometimes I get into one of those kinds of moods . . . to question the entirety of earth. And then the mood passes and I resume normal activities. I enjoy them while they last though-
